Long Trails
Here I’ve laid out a list of some of the notable trails I’ve enjoyed over the years. Some are infamous, whereas others are more colloquial. Not all are tremendous in length, but what they lack in volume, they make up for in grandeur.
I’d like to point out that each person has a different definition of what makes a thru hike, a “thru hike”. Many argue it must be at least 1,000 miles long. Others suggest it is a point-to-point footpath. For the sake of simplicity, I’m going to list loops, point-to-point paths, National Scenic Trails, and anything notorious otherwise. If you’d like to learn more about some of the longer paths in particular, please visit the drop-down menu to explore each specific trail.
